CALL TO ACTION!! WHAT WE CAN DO TO STOP CLIMATE CHANGE TREATY.

Here is info we can provide to those who aren't yet awakened. After giving them the info - and posting it everywhere (PUMA sites and moderate DEM sites are a great start), ask that they sign the petition at:
http://www.globalclimatescam.com/?page_id=560

Here's the info:

Is it ok with you if President Obama cedes our sovereignty by signing a treaty that will take precedence over our Constitution? If it's not ok, let's work together to stop this from happening.
The treaty he plans to sign is not about Climate Change, it's about a One World Government, and the transfer of money from the U.S. to underdeveloped countries as a 'climate debt'.

Washington Times article (October 25, 2009)

Lord Monckton is a former Advisor to Margaret Thatcher.

Here is the full-length version of Lord Monckton's presentation - SCIENCE:

Here are important portions of the treaty:

World Government (heading added)

(a) The government will be ruled by the COP with the support of a new subsidiary body on adaptation, and of an Executive Board responsible for the management of the new funds and the related facilitative processes and bodies. The current Convention secretariat will operate as such, as appropriate.

To Redistribute Wealth (heading added)

b) The Convention's financial mechanism will include a multilateral climate change fund including five windows: (a) an Adaptation window, (b) a Compensation window, to address loss and damage from climate change impacts [read: the "climate debt" Monckton refers to], including insurance, rehabilitation and compensatory components, © a Technology window; (d) a Mitigation window; and (e) a REDD window, to support a multi-phases process for positive forest incentives relating to REDD actions.

With Enforcement Authority (heading added)

© The Convention's facilitative mechanism will include: (a) work programmes for adaptation and mitigation; (b) a long-term REDD process; © a short-term technology action plan; (d) an expert group on adaptation established by the subsidiary body on adaptation, and expert groups on mitigation, technologies and on monitoring, reporting and verification; and (e) an international registry for the monitoring, reporting and verification of compliance of emission reduction commitments, and the transfer of technical and financial resources from developed countries to developing countries. The secretariat will provide technical and administrative support, including a new centre for information exchange [read; enforcement].

Thank you so much Savant!! Please feel free to use this in any way you like. I tried to be as succinct as possible and provide the most critical pieces that will grab the reader's attention, but this can certainly use some work and maybe you can help me. Where I talk about the transfer of money from the U.S., what I really want to do is word it so that - for those who believe in 'take from the rich, give to the poor' - will understand that's not what this treaty is about. That it's about taking from ALL in the U.S. to give to other countries. Those who sympathize with the socialist viewpoint may wake up when they realize the treaty is NOT to benefit them nor their socialist ideology; it is to take from them and everyone else in the U.S., under control of a One World Order.

What is the REDD process?

Hi Lindy, I went to look at the treaty to see if REDD is defined in an earlier section of the treaty and... I'll bet you can guess... the treaty isn't there anymore. (Is Big Brother already controlling the net?).
I'll see if I can find the treaty somewhere else, and if I find out what the REDD process is, I'll definitely let you know.

Nancy... re: Big Brother...why ask a question that we already KNOW the answer to? haha

It was a rhetorical question, that's for sure. :-)

I know it was "rhetorical", Nancy...

Believe me when I say that by now... we've ALL become well versed in identifying anything to do with rhetoric.

We have our "elected officials" to thank for that. Should we say "thank you" to them on their way out???
