Well, why can't we have both? We can! Why should we pay higher taxes just to provide an individual that does not contribute to society healthcare? In America, you reap what you sow.

How about the current cost of healthcare? Should the prices be this high for your health?

What about quality?

What about productivity as far as sick days are concerned? Wouldn't employers like their employees to live healthier life styles so they can show up for every shift; and if an employee's healthier wouldn't that make them happier and more productive?

We know that the insurace industry has healthcare held by the throat. So, wouldn't the insurance company lose less money and increase marginal profit if patients were healthier?
